BARROco II
Areté D'Empordà
Concept
The BARROco collection reinterprets the timeless elegance of El Greco's "The Nobleman with his Hand on his Chest", transforming the iconic hand into a symbolic handle loaded with meaning. Each piece explores the subtlety and expressiveness of the gesture, inviting us to discover its multiple interpretations: from commitment and honesty, to restrained emotion and intimate connection with oneself. The shapes evoke the visual richness of the Baroque style, blending art and functionality into unique pieces that arouse sensitivity and dialogue in any space.

The artist creates unique works of art with clay inspired by the concept of Areté, encompassing respect for the sharing of knowledge and the importance of artisan craftsmanship. Each of her pieces is the result of a delicate balance between technique, rigour and creative freedom, a meeting place for tradition and innovation. This balance allows the artist to explore her artistic freedom, transforming the act of modelling clay into an experience with no fixed places, but rather states of inspiration. Her work therefore transcends the physical object to become a manifestation of values and emotions that are instilled through her hands.
