Artefacto X.3
Justino Del Casar
Concept
In this collection, Justino del Casar explores the relationship between nature, time and materials. The sculptural shapes are inspired by plant patterns, evoking the organic design that we find in nature. Despite its solid appearance and rough and polished textures, each piece is made from recycled materials such as paper and cardboard, worked using a traditional ancestral technique. With this series, the artist brings to life the balance between obsolescence and actuality, past and present, resistance and fragility, inviting us to rediscover beauty in the constant evolution of materials.
