Concept
"Mico" is a work inspired by the "macaquiños" (small monkeys) observed by the artist during her travels in Brazil. The piece is about how these small details of a journey become threads of the experience and remain vivid in the memory. The work is part of the exhibition "Saudade", a visual logbook of the artist's trip to Brazil.

Blanca Nieto, known artistically as Blannim, investigates the space between the visible and the invisible, fusing technique and concept in each of her creations. Her work revolves around memory and its impact on the perception of existence, constructing a plastic narrative where textile layers, weaves and transparencies are transformed into metaphors of time. Blannim structures her works in polyptychs. By joining several frames together, she generates unique images divided into multiple planes. Thus, each fragment dialogues with the others, evoking the way memories are fragmented and reconfigured in our minds.
